Improving a Suggestion

Overview

Are you impressed with our AI suggestions, but wish to customize them to better fit your style or context? You now have the ability to improve them directly or to share feedback (see Suggestion Feedback for more details) about them, which we will take into account immediately and we will apply it for future suggestions if applicable as well. Both capabilities of improving suggestions and giving feedback are accessible for any suggestion that has a clickable card. In this article, we'll walk you through the steps of improving a suggestion.

Enable Platform Intelligence

Platform Intelligence needs to be enabled for the account for this capability to be available. See How to Enable Platform Intelligence for details on how to enable Platform Intelligence (PI).

To improve an AI suggestion:

Click on a suggestion card. The card is expanded and a control bar appears, which includes all actions that can be taken for that suggestion.
Click on the “Improve suggestion” button. A dropdown menu opens with different types of options: "Ask AI to..." and "OR MAKE IT".
1. "Ask AI to..." allows you to specifically give an instruction, based on which the suggestion will be altered:
  1. Click on "Ask AI to...". An input field appears within the suggestion card between the current suggestion and the control bar.
  3. Type in what way you want to alter the current suggestion.
  4. Click “Ask AI” in order for the instruction you gave to be taken into account.
  5. The initial suggestion is replaced with a new suggestion based on the given instruction.
2. “OR MAKE IT” gives you the ability to choose directly from a list of predefined options, which differ based on the suggestion’s type (title, description, tags, KR, tasks). Clicking on either one of these options immediately replaces the current suggestion with a new one allowing you to tailor a suggestion to your liking quickly. Here are the available options based on the suggestion type:
  1. Title: more concise, more ambitious, more strategic, and more creative
  2. Description: longer, shorter, simpler
  3. Key Result: more concise, more quantifiable, more ambitious
  4. Tasks: broader, more specific
  5. Tags: broader, more specific

3. Once you are presented with a new suggestion, you can continue using the “Improve suggestion” button to further refine the suggestion.
