Overview
If you have a team that funnels into one team, but it should funnel it into another, you can do that by changing the team’s parent team.
To edit teams you will need the "Edit team details" permission for your user role.
Procedure
Perform the following:
In the navigation pane, expand People and click Teams.
Click the team.
Hover over the Parent team field and click the Trash icon if you want to remove the parent team
Click in Parent team field, and choose a new one if your goal is to change the parent team
The changes will be saved automatically
