Overview

The cadence of an OKR defines how frequently the key results in this OKR have to be updated.

The cadence can be:

  • Weekly

  • Bi-weekly

  • Monthly

You configure the cadence when you define the session. The session cadence applies to all OKRs in the session. The number of cadences in one session depends on the length of the session and the chosen cadence.

Example

If you create a new session and define it to be one month long. Select a weekly cadence.

  • In this session you will have four cadences.

  • The first week will be the first out of four cadences (1/4).

  • For the second and the third week the cadence will change to 2/4 and 3/4, respectively.

  • The last week the cadence will be 4/4.

The first digit shows the current cadence and the second - the total number of cadences in the session.
