How to connect

  • In Quantive, navigate to Settings > Data Sources screen

  • Click the Select data source button

  • From the Choose a connector dialog, select the Sales tab and then Zoho CRM

Then you have to specify the name of the connection so that you can later distinguish your Zoho CRM datasource especially if your company uses more than one Zoho CRM account.

In order to connect to your Zoho CRM account you have to first register the Quantive app as Zoho Client and then provide the Client ID and Client Secret. To register your Quantive app Visit this page https://accounts.zoho.com/developerconsole and click on Get Started and choose the Client Type to be Client-based Applications.

Follow the steps below:

Your Client app would have been created and displayed by now. The newly registered app's Client ID and Client Secret can be found by clicking Client Secret.

You also have to specify your data center as Zoho CRM provides different data center deployments based on geographical region. You can find the DC from your browser URL. Supported values are com for default DC, eu for European Union.

Then click Authenticate data source and you will be redirected to accounts.zoho.com to securely authenticate and choose the desired account you wish to sync data from.

After authorizing Quantive for the specified account you will be redirected back to Quantive account.

  • Define permissions who will be able to administrate this connection

  • Choose the entity you wish to sync

  • Give it a meaningful name, it will used later on when creating insights. Choose the synchronisation frequency

  • Define permissions who will be able to see and use the information coming from this source

Now you are ready to write insights based on the data fetched from Zoho CRM and automate the progress of KRs and KPIs.

A Zoho CRM connection is saved the first time you add a data source so if you wish to add another data source you can skip the authorization process and choose one of the existing connections when you see this dialog:
