Overview

KPI targets are available with the new KPI experience. Learn how to enable it here.

KPI Targets allow you to set your expectations for the results of a KPI and visualize them on the chart. The individual KPI targets will form a projection line that clearly communicates to the KPI owners the desired outcomes at specific time intervals.

Prerequisites

  1. The user should have Edit KPI permission in his/her role set

2. The user should be an owner or have Update permission for the particular KPI

How to set a target:

  1. Navigate to and click on the KPI name you want to add a target to. You will be shown its details module on the right-hand side.

  2. Click on the "Set target" button above the KPI chart

  3. A pop-up window will appear where you'll be prompted to add a value, a note if you'd like to add more context, or mention people, and a date for the target.

  4. Once you Confirm, the target will appear on the chart as a blue dot.

  5. The targets you set will be connected by a blue line on the KPI chart, and you can easily compare the targets vs the actual values of the KPI for each period.

  6. Use the aggregation and time period picker above the chart to monitor the KPI progress against the targets for each period, based on your cadence.

How to manage KPI targets

Edit the next target

The easiest way to edit the next target is by clicking on the Target value on the KPI detailed screen.

This action will open a pop-up window similar to the creation of a target, allowing you to edit this target and change the value, target date or the note.

Manage all targets

All targets created for a KPI can be found in the Activity section of the KPI. You can reach this screen by clicking on the icon, which will open the Activity section of the KPI.

Here you can find historical information for all KPI updates and Targets.

In the 3-dot menu of each target you will find the options to edit or delete it.
