Google Workspace SSO is Google's solution for providing users the ability to use their Google Workspace credentials to sign in to enterprise cloud applications via Single Sign-On.
In case your company is using Google Workspace to manage domain access you can connect Quantive with Google Workspace and automatically onboard all your users to Quantive.

What does it do?

  • Automatically create Quantive users from your Google Workspace

  • When a user is removed from Google Workspace it will also be removed from Quantive

  • Allow users to log in to Quantive with their Google Workspace credentials

Prerequisites

In order to be able to connect Quantive with your Google Workspace instance you will need the following:

  • Have to be in the admin role of your Quantive account

  • Google Workspace admin rights to approve Quantive's request to read your user's profiles

Activation

  • Log in to Quantive

  • Navigate to Settings (the gear icon in the bottom left corner) > Configuration view >  Single Sign On

  • From the dropdown select Google Workspace Single Sign On (SSO)

Federated email domains

If your Google Workspace manages more than one domain, use the "+add alias domain" and provide the additional email domains this connection should work with.

  • Enter your Google Workspace domain and click Test connection button

  • If the domain is valid and connection was successful you will see the following screen

  • Now you need to give Quantive rights to read your Google Workspace users directory. To do so click on the Open confirmation screen button.

  • If you are administrator of your company's Google Workspace account will be able to approve the connection. Otherwise please give the generated link to someone who has the necessary permissions. When on the screen similar to the one below, hit the Allow button.

Once the connection has been successfully established, you will see your Google Workspace SSO connection in Quantive.
