Learn how to manage teams in Quantive Results individually or in bulk, how to assign managers and team members.

Overview

In Quantive Results, you use teams to setup your organizational chart. You can assign and remove team managers or team members. You can do this also in bulk, editing several teams at once.

Note that you will need “Edit team members” user role permissions to perform and follow through with the actions described in the article.


Assign a manager to a team

Perform the following:

  1. In the navigation pane, expand People and click Teams.

  2. Click the team where you want to assign a team manager.

  3. In the Manager field, click the field to manually enter a manager, or pick one from the

    drop down list of individuals.

  4. Once selected, the individual will immediately be assigned as Manager for the

    selected team.

  5. Click Back.

  6. To change the manager, click on the team you would like to change.

  7. In the Manager field, remove the current manager, then search or

    select a new one.

  8. Click Back.


Assign members to a team

Perform the following:

  1. In the navigation pane, expand People and click Teams.

  2. Click the team where you want to add members.

  3. In the Members field, Type to search for members or add individuals from the list.

    You can add multiple members to this field.

  4. Once selected, the individual(s) will immediately be assigned to the

    selected team.

  5. Click Back.


Manage team members in bulk

Use the bulk edit team members functionality to manage multiple teams at once.

To edit multiple teams in bulk, perform the following:

  1. In the navigation pane, expand People and click Teams.

  2. In the toolbar, click Bulk-edit users.

    In the left pane, there is a list of all teams and their team members and options to list only active or deactivated teams. In the right pane, there is a list of all employees, active employees, deactivated employees, and employees not in a team.

  3. You can drag and drop individuals from the Employees section to your desired team to assign them as Manager or team members. The changes are applied instantly.

  4. Once finished, click out of the bulk team manager to return back to the

    teams page.

You can perform the following team modifications.

  • Remove a team manager, by hovering over the user avatar and clicking the minus icon.

  • Exclude members from teams, by hovering over their user avatars and clicking them.

  • Drag an employee from the right pane and drop it as manager of the desired team.

  • Drag employees from the right pane and drop them as team members in the desired team.

  • Use the search bars to quickly find an employee or a team.

  • Filter teams by status - active or deactivated, by clicking on the tabs

  • Filter employees by status or not part of any team by clicking on the tabs


Find employees not belonging to any team

Perform the following:

  1. In the navigation pane, expand People and click Teams.

  2. In the toolbar, click Bulk edit team members.

  3. Click Not in a team tab.

A list of all employees not part of any team appears. Employees are listed alphabetically and deactivated users are listed last.
