The objective overview provides a comprehensive view of your Objective performance, including who is responsible, what is current progress, forecast, sentiment, and Objective performance over time. The drawer also includes impacting items, which are Objectives and Key Results that have the greatest influence on your Objective. By using this information, you can make data-driven decisions about how to improve your OKR performance.

On top of the Objective overview drawer, it is the title of the Objective, the description, and an avatar with the owner. Below you can find the following information:

  • Current progress with progress change delta

  • Forecast showing the expected KPI progress at the end of the selected session

  • Sentiment showing how likely it is that this Objective is achieved. It is an estimate based on the Objective’s progress over time, confidence, comments, and tasks. It also considers the session’s end date to calculate a number between 0 and 100. The bigger the number, the greater the likelihood that the objective is achieved.

Further, below, you can see the Objective’s Performance graph. You can zoom in and out to define the time period reviewed.

What are Impacting items?

Impacting items are Objectives and Key Results with the greatest influence on your Objective. Our AI analyzes your data to identify which items are most closely correlated with changes in your Objective. By focusing on them, you can make data-driven decisions about how to improve your Objective’s performance.

For example, let's say that your Objective is “Customers love our product”, and one of the impacting items is the Key Result - "100% of customer suggestions are handled". This suggests that by solving the respective Key Result, you are likely to also achieve your objective. You can use this information to develop a strategy for building a better product, such as focusing on handling customer suggestions.

It's important to note that impacting items are not necessarily the same as causation. While our AI can identify correlations between Objectives/Key Results and your Objective at focus, it cannot definitively prove causation. However, by focusing on the Objectives and Key Results that are most closely correlated with your Objective at focus, you can make informed decisions about how to improve your performance.

Each row shows you the item's name, the assigned owner, current progress, and progress delta since the last update. Each row is clickable and leads to the respective Objective or Key Result within Quantive Results.
