Overview
KPI Projections allow you to set your expectations for the results of a KPI and visualize it in a chart. The individual KPI projections will form a projection line that clearly communicates to the KPI owners the desired outcomes at specific time intervals.
Prerequisites
Only users with Manage Data permissions can create, edit and delete KPI projections.
Users need access to the particular KPI in order to add a projection.
View-only users will be able to see the KPI information, updates and projections but unable to create new ones, or edit and delete existing ones.
How to set a projection:
Navigate to the KPI you want to add a projection to. You have two main options:
Via the general search: using the search field in the top right-hand corner, find the KPI you need and select it.
You will be shown its details module on the right-hand side.
Via the KPI page: find and select the KPI you need. The projection module will
then appear showing the current details related to the selected KPI.
Create a KPI projection by either clicking the "Set a projection" button or clicking on the chart where you want to place a projection.
Your projection will be shown on the chart as a blue dot.
The projections you set will be connected by a blue dotted line in chronological order.
Team leads can visualize their Projections in the KPI chart aligning their team to the common goal for the next month, quarter or year. Those teams can then create different OKR scenarios by which they can achieve that goal.
How to edit a KPI projection
You can edit a KPI projection in two ways:
How to delete a KPI projection
You can also delete a KPI projection by clicking on the blue dot on the chart. You will be presented with the edit module with the "Delete" button in the bottom-left corner.
