Overview
This capability suggests a description of your Objectives by using generative AI to analyze your Objective and suggest a clear and concise description that everyone in your organization can understand.

Enable Platform Intelligence
Platform Intelligence needs to be enabled for the account for this capability to be available. See How to Enable Platform Intelligence for details on enabling Platform Intelligence (PI).

View Suggested Description
To view suggestions for an Objective description:
Open any Objective within an active session that you have the right to edit.
One way to do this is by clicking on the "OKRs" tab in the navigation menu and selecting the Objective you want to work on.
There are two places where you can access the suggestions:
Look at the "Description" input field
If a description was already added for that Objective, you would not see a suggestion. However, if the field was left empty, you can see that a description suggestion appears in the field automatically. You can tell that the description is a suggestion by the dashed outline, the suggestion icon, and the fact that on hover “Suggest Another”, ”Remove Suggestion" and “Add this Suggestion” buttons appear for the suggestion.
Click on the “Suggestions” button in the top right corner of the Objective
Click on the “All suggestions” tab. There, you will see a description suggestion under the “Description” section only if the description has not been added for that Objective yet, otherwise, the section is not visible.
ℹ︎ The inline description suggestion within the Objective details view is the same as the suggestion in the “All suggestions” tab on the Suggestions side panel. Any action taken (accepting the suggestion or suggesting another) on a suggestion no matter where it is located, is reflected on the same suggestion inline or in the side panel, respectively.
Accept or Edit the Suggested Description
To accept or edit a suggestion for a description:
Click on the "Add this Suggestion" button within the suggestion card, either inline or in the “All suggestions” tab on the Suggestions side panel.
The suggested description is added to your Objective, and the input field is already in focus so that you can make any changes to it if needed. If instead, you are happy with the description you have just accepted and do not want to make any changes to it, simply click outside of the input field.
Suggest Another Description
If you don't like the suggested description, you can click on the "Suggest Another" button either inline or in the “All suggestions” tab in the Suggestions side panel to get a new suggestion.
Check Details of AI-generated Description
If you are not interested in the suggested description and instead you want to manually fill in your own Objective description, simply click on the ”Remove Suggestion" button inline after which the suggestion is not visible anymore.
