Overview

The Suggested Section in the New Navigation will proactively suggest OKR Sessions, KPI Groups, Whiteboards, Reports (prev. called Lists), Insightboards, and Teams that are uniquely relevant and private to individual users.

Where is the Suggested Section?

To find and start using the Suggested Section please make sure that:

✅You have the New Navigation Experience enabled for your account.

❗The Suggested Section is only available if you're using the New Gtmhub Experience, which is currently in Beta. To try it out, please get in touch with our team using the Intercom chat in the lower right corner. If you’re unsure which version of the navigation you’re using, please refer to the below screenshot to find out.

✅You have expanded the sidebar of the New Navigation.

✅You are looking at one of the main navigation screens of Quantive Results that support the Suggested Section.

The screens that support Suggested Sections are OKR Sessions, KPIs, Whiteboards, Reports (prev. called Lists), Insightboards, and People.

❗The Suggested Section is not available on the Home and Task screens.

💾 Remember, the Suggested Section will be unique and private to each user but the logic behind it is the same.

Working with Suggested Items

By clicking on the ellipsis menu of a Suggested Item, users can perform one of the following actions:

  • Click on the item to quickly access it.

  • Open the item in a new browser tab.

  • Copy a sharable link to the item.

  • Add the item to their Favourites Section.

  • Remove a Suggested Item from the List.

How does the Suggested Section work? What will be recommended to a user?

Depending on the user’s location in the platform the Suggested Section contents will vary. When a user is on the Session’s screen – the section will include only suggested Sessions. When a user is on the Report’s screen – the section will include only suggested Reports. This applies to the rest of the main screens with a Suggested Section – please see the list above. You can refer to the table below to understand the selection criteria for each suggestion type.

Suggestion Type

Suggestion Criteria

Sessions

The section will include any of the following:

  • Sessions where the user owns OKRs.

  • Sessions where the user’s team owns OKRs.

  • Sessions to which the user has access, i.e., are shared with the user.

The sorting of the Session Suggested Section is based on the priority listed above. Ongoing or in-progress Sessions will be listed higher, while past ones will have a lower ranking.

❗Sessions with past-end data will not be suggested in the section.

KPI Groups

The section will include KPI groups:

  • Created or owned by the user.

  • Created or owned by the user’s team.

Whiteboards

The section will include Whiteboards created by members of the team/s, where the user is also a member.

Reports (prev. called Lists)

The section will include Reports created by members of the team/s, where the user is also a member.

Insightboards

The section will include Insightboards created by members of the team/s, where the user is also a member.

Teams

The section will include any of the following:

  • Teams that the user is a member of.

  • Direct parent teams of the initial list of teams that the user is a member of – point #1.

  • Direct child teams of the initial list of teams that the user is a member of – point #1.

The sorting of the Team Suggested Section is based on priority and is in correspondence with the sorting of the list above: sorted from high to low.

Suggested Section Specifics

  • For all suggestion types that are dependent on a user’s membership to a team - no suggestions will be shown if the user is not a member of a team.

  • Each Suggested Section will show up to 10 total suggestions at a time.

  • Items that are already listed in a user’s Recent Section will not show in the Suggested Section.

  • The list of suggested items will be sorted by date of creation – showing the most recently created items at the top.
