Set the format and reminders of your team's Check-ins

If you have the Manage Check-ins permissions you can enable or disable Check-ins for specific teams, you can change the Check-in questions, you can enable or disable mood, notes and reminders, and you can customize the reminder schedule.

Enable/disable Check-ins for a team:

  1. Open a team's profile.

  2. Click on the ellipsis menu and click Manage Check-ins.

  3. To enable or disable Check-ins for that team switch on or off the Enable team Check-ins toggle.

Manage Settings

Enable/disable Mood on a team level:

  1. Open a team's profile.

  2. Click on the ellipsis menu and click Manage Check-ins.

  3. Enable Check-ins from the Enable team Check-ins toggle if they were disabled.

  4. In the Settings tab turn off the toggle next to Mood to disable that functionality for that team or turn the toggle on to enable it.

ℹ︎ Once Mood is disabled, you will no longer see the option to add your mood when filling in a new Check-in. If Mood was enabled previously, you will still see it if it was part of published Check-ins and you can still edit the mood for these Check-ins.

Enable/disable Notes on a team level:

  1. Open a team's profile.

  2. Click on the ellipsis menu and click Manage Check-ins.

  3. Enable Check-ins from the Enable team Check-ins toggle if they were disabled.

  4. In the Settings tab turn off the toggle next to Notes to disable that functionality for that team or turn the toggle on to enable it.

ℹ︎ Once Notes are disabled, you will no longer see the option to add notes when filling in a new Check-in, and the notes filters in the Overview will disappear from then on. If Notes were enabled previously, you will still see them if they were part of published Check-ins, you can still edit the notes for these Check-ins, and you will still see the note filters as part of the Overview.

Change Check-ins questions for a team:

  1. Open a team's profile.

  2. Click on the ellipsis menu and click Manage Check-ins.

  3. Enable Check-ins from the Enable team Check-ins toggle if they were disabled.

  4. In the Settings tab under Questions you will see 3 default questions. You can decide whether to use them or not by using the toggles next to each question.

  5. If you want to add custom questions, click +Create question, enter your question in the field and press Enter to save the question. You can add as many custom questions as you like and you can delete them using the bin icon next to each one.

ℹ︎ Any changes made in the Manage Check-ins page will be reflected immediately.

Manage Schedule

Enable reminders and customize the reminder schedule:

  1. Open a team's profile.

  2. Click on the ellipsis menu and click Manage Check-ins.

  3. Enable Check-ins from the Enable team Check-ins toggle if they were disabled.

  4. Click on the Schedule tab.

  5. To enable Check-ins reminders, switch on the Check-ins reminders toggle.

  6. You can change the day on which reminders are sent out to team members using the dropdown menu under Day (NOTE: the time at which the reminders are sent out is the same as the one set for the OKR update reminders on the account level).
