The Quantive Results web application operates with Microsoft Entra ID in two primary ways.
After Microsoft Entra ID has been configured, you should have two applications from Quantive Results in your Microsoft Entra ID.
The first application will handle:
User Provisioning
The second application will handle:
User De-Provisioning
Users deleted from internal Microsoft Entra ID will also be deleted from the company accounts Quantive Results instance. *Note - Microsoft Entra ID defaults to a "soft" delete mechanism. De-Provisioned users from Microsoft Entra ID will be sent to a "Recycle Bin" within Microsoft Entra ID for 30 days. They will only be deleted from Quantive Results when they are removed from the "Recycle Bin" within Microsoft Entra ID.
E.g. - John Smith is removed from Company XYZ internal directory. This information is shared with Quantive Results and John Smith no long has access to the company's Quantive Account.
Team Mapping(optional)
By default, if teams have a hierarchy within the internal Microsoft Entra ID, that mapping will copy over to Quantive. Specifically, the internal Microsoft Entra ID should set a "Manager" field value for each employee. *Note - If you do not wish for Automatic Team mapping, please contact Quantive Results technical support. We can turn this feature off for you in advance.
E.g. - Manager "A" has 10 direct reports, whom also have access to Quantive. In his company's directory, his reports have the "Manager" field set to Manager "A". When either Manager "A" or his direct reports log in, they will find themselves belonging to his team within Quantive
