Basecamp is a popular project management software used by businesses and individuals to collaborate and stay on top of their project workflows. By integrating Basecamp you can create data visualizations and create dynamic Key Results in Quantive Results.

How to connect

  • In Quantive Results, navigate to Settings > Data Sources screen

  • Click the Add new data source button

  • From the Choose a connector dialog, select the Product tab and then Basecamp

  • To connect to Basecamp you will need to give your connection a name, enter your Account Id and Project Id. They can be found in the url (see example) when you log into Basecamp and select project.

3.basecamp.com/{Account Id}/projects/{Project Id}

When you click Authenticate you will be redirected to securely authenticate and allow Quantive Results to access information in your account. Click on "Yes, I'll allow access" to continue.

After authorising Quantive Results you will be redirected back to quantive.com

  • Define who will be eligible to administrate the connection in Quantive:

  • Choose the entity you wish to sync. ToDos, for example.

  • Give your data source a name and then choose its sync schedule.

  • Define permissions who will be able to see and use the information in this entity to create insights and automate KRs and KPIs:

Now you are ready to write Insights based on the data fetched from Basecamp. Learn more about how to create Insights here.
