In broad strokes, we have organized the Q1 2020 roadmap in the following areas:

  • Reports

  • Marketplace

  • Automation

  • Active Directory

Reports

In Q4, we released our first iteration of Reports for Gtmhub to a great reception. In Q1, we’ll extend these further and push the 2nd iteration based on the feedback we received.

Delta reports (Done)

In Q1, we will introduce what we call “delta reports.” These new reports will provide information on what has changed in a given period (e.g., last week or last month).

These lead to some powerful use cases, including:

  • The Hub will also show the relative progress on OKRs in a given time (e.g., 6% improvement over last week);

  • The Statistics screen and Gtmhub reports will include +/- figures for each of the values; and

  • Email notifications and reports will highlight the most significant changes, as well as +/- data for all the values.

Performance Reports (Done)

Performance reports will focus exclusively on tracking and reporting company, department, team, and individual performance against OKRs.

This enables a set of use case questions, such as:

  • What is the average attainment of OKRs? (configurable for individuals, groups, teams and combinations of these, as well as using tags and time horizons)

  • Which OKRs are doing well? Which are in danger?

  • What does OKR achievement look like on a granular level? (by department, team or individual

  • Which Objectives, Individuals or Teams require managerial attention?

Process Reports (Done)

Process reports, on the other hand, will provide insights targeted at how effectively the organization is at running the OKR process.

Key use cases include the following configured indexes and reports:

  • OKR Health Index;

  • Alignment index;

  • Engagement and usage metrics;

  • Stale OKRs reports; and

  • OKR Issues reports (e.g., Objective without Key Results).

Marketplace

The first release of the Gtmhub Marketplace enables you to install pre-configured OKR examples with one simple click. For example, if you wonder what good OKRs for sales rep, product manager, UX designer are… look no further than our marketplace. You’ll simply grab the appropriate OKR and then either use it as is or modify it slightly to suit your needs. This is a fantastic way to ‘quick-start’ your OKR sessions.

In Q1, you can look for us to double-down on the marketplace with three new releases.

One-click Insights (Done)

If you use Gtmhub, you know OKRs are just the start. Driving growth via Insights (and Dynamic Key Results) really leverages the power of OKRs. So, we are taking the marketplace to the next level and adding Insights. You’ll be able to access hundreds of out-of-the-box Insights and connect them to your OKRs with a simple click.

Want to track the number of closed epics in JIRA? Perhaps you want to know the size of the pipeline in SalesForce in real time? No problem – just install the Insight right from the Gtmhub Marketplace.

Share your OKRs on Marketplace (Done)

The first iteration of the marketplace was purposely limited when it comes to who can contribute, as we wanted to reduce the noise and manage curation.

Share your Insights on Marketplace (Done)

In early 2020, we’ll open the marketplace to submissions from all the users of Gtmhub. With these new additions, you will be able to create OKR and Insight templates for your team to use or even share them publicly.

Automation

Automation is a big theme when talking about solving problems at scale. So far, Gtmhub has automated updating key results from over 150 3rd-party business systems (such as Salesforce, Jira, or Google Sheets).

We are now taking automation one step further with the brand new automation workflows. The Gtmhub automation workflows will implement a common: Trigger > Condition > Action paradigm.

Process and OKR hygiene automation (Done)

Managing anything at scale requires automation of workflows – and OKRs are no exceptions.

For example, you may want to:

  • send a Slack message every time someone creates a top-level objective; or

  • automatically tag every OKR that contains the phrases “MRR” or “revenue” with “sales;” or

  • send an email to the respective manager whenever an objective hits 70% attainment.

Simplified Custom Insights (Done)

Gtmhub allows users to create custom Insights using SQL or R algorithms and HTML for visualization.

While this feature is insanely powerful, many users find HTML markup complex and hard to manage across a large number of Insights.

No problem. We are now simplifying this by removing the need to write HTML if your Insight returns a single number (e.g., MRR, Number of Jira Epics…). Gtmhub will now automatically create the user interface for your Insight – though, if you insist, you can of course fall back on fully custom HTML.

Simple OKR update automation (In progress)

One of Gtmhub’s key values is enabling the automation of Key Results (tied to the 3rd-party tools I mentioned earlier). Of course, this previously required you to browse your configured Insightboards and then create dynamic Key Results.

No longer! In Q1, we are dramatically simplifying this flow by allowing you to automate your Key Results with one click, directly from the OKR creation screen.

Adding a dynamic Key Result is now as simple as choosing the system and metric you want to track as a key result.

Active Directory Sync (In progress)

Gtmhub has supported SSO integrations for a long time now. In Q1, we are taking the Active Directory integration to an entirely new level.

In addition to supporting SSO, we will now also sync additional data from Active Directory.

This feature will ultimately benefit large teams that need to manage user information from one central place.

Use cases:

  • Automatically create Gtmhub teams based on the AD domains, organization units, and groups; and

  • Automatically assign Gtmhub role based on the AD properties; and

  • Automatically assign users to Teams in Gtmhub based on AD properties.
