Here's how to navigate in the Alignment view:

In the Alignment view, locate "Options" in the navigation panel on the right side in the bottom of the page

Check pointer/hand mode options to move around

Use the zoom controls to zoom in and out, you can also use CTRL + and CTRL - on your keyboard.

Move around the canvas or zoom in/out by using the nav options, shortcuts and the trackpad
