Learn how to create a sub-objective of an objective to align your OKRs quickly

Overview

If you want to quickly align your objectives and create a parent-child relationship between them, you can add a child objective that is linked to an objective or a key result.


Procedure

Create a child objective of an objective

  1. In the navigation pane, under OKRs, click All sessions.

  2. Click the session where you want to add the child objective.
    The list of all session objectives appears.

  3. Click the objective where you want a child objective.

  4. In the upper-right corner, expand the menu.

  5. Click Add child objective.

  6. Create the new objective using the procedure Create objectives.

Create a child objective of a key result

  1. In the navigation pane, under OKRs, click All sessions.

  2. Click the session where you want to add the child objective.

    The list of all session objectives appears.

  3. Locate the objective where you want a child objective.

  4. Next to its key result where you want to add the child Objective, expand the menu.

  5. Click Add child objective.

  6. Create the new objective using the procedure Create objectives.
