The Quantive Results connection, data sources, and entities are used for generating Quantive Results reports.

Unlikely other connections and data sources which you can add, delete, and modify, the Quantive Results items are immutable by default (cannot be edited or deleted). This is so because the Quantive Results data sources and entities extract data directly from your Quantive Results account and enable you to customize a report according to your organizational needs.

Any employee with a role including "Manage data" permission can preview and create insights querying these entities.

Here's how the pre-installed Quantive Results connection, data sources, and entities differ from the others in your account:

  • The Quantive Results connection cannot be modified while 3rd-party ones can be edited, connected to a new data source or deleted.

  • Quantive Results data sources (quantiveresultsgoals, quantiveresultsmetrics, etc.) can only be synced while 3rd-party ones can be modified entirely (sync, edit, create an entity, schema changes, delete).

  • Quantive Results entities (quantiveresultsgoals, quantiveresultsmetrics, etc.) can only be opened while 3rd-party ones can be opened and deleted.
